Here’s our latest video, made for McDonald’s and Coke. It’s currently airing in movie theatres and on television, throughout the states. As with the last T-Shirt War video, it all started with a series of brainstorming sessions with Rhett & Link about what the video needed, and figuring out the gags. Once the basic designs were approved(I’ll post some of the "rejected" designs soon), I then went ahead and created the final versions you see in the video. Joe Penna came back again to photograph and edit it to perfection. And, like before, I also abused my face to create all of the sound effects. Enjoy!
Here’s my 5th collaboration with Rhett & Link, and first collaboration with Joe “MysteryGuitarMan” Penna. I drew and animated everything, as well as created the sound effects. It took us two days to shoot this. It was a LOT of hard work.
Also, here’s a fun “Behind the Scenes” video I put together.
Special Thanks to youTube for featuring my Behind the Scenes video.
The lovely Taylor Swift was about to give her acceptance speech, when out of the blue Kanye West grabbed her mic and completely ruined the moment. He then wrote on his website his apology. I felt text wasn't enough to really convey his sincerity, so here it is in music form.....enjoy.
"I'M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD'VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED! I LIKE THE LYRICS ABOUT BEING A CHEERLEADER AND SHE'S IN THE BLEACHERS! ........................ I'M IN THE WRONG FOR GOING ON STAGE AND TAKING AWAY FROM HER MOMENT!................. BEYONCE'S VIDEO WAS THE BEST OF THIS DECADE!!!! I'M SORRY TO MY FANS IF I LET YOU GUYS DOWN!!!! I'M SORRY TO MY FRIENDS AT MTV. I WILL APOLOGIZE TO TAYLOR 2MRW. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!!! Legend has it this girl walked in for 3 small star tattoos on her face, took a nap(?) then woke up to find the tattoo guy gave her over 50! I’m pretty sure she was experiencing a lil’ instant regret. Make sure to check out the final shot of the guy who did her work.
Last night I wrote this song after my buddy John showed me these pictures of Megan Fox “refusing” a rose from some kid. I like imagining that he did research before trying to hand over the flower. Bad research.
I thought it would be fun to record a video entirely with the built-in isight on my macbook pro. I shot a few takes and edited it all together yesterday. So, here is my little experiment, from me to you.
"Very Tasteful have a knack for writing songs about things that are happening at the very instant that they are writing the songs. It’s a sort of meta-commentary of one’s life, and it’s always told with the present participle. Their classics include I’m Typing LOL and Caller ID (aka, My Phone is Ringing). There is something philosophically valuable in these but I haven’t quite uncovered it yet: I think therefore I am? I sing about things that are happening now, but I film it and people watch it when these things are no longer happening even though I say they are, therefore I was? Hmmmm. Oh, and they’re not a one-trick pony either. They’ve got cartoons and sasquatch songs, among many others."
I'm making a new version of "White Chicks & Gang Signs" for television, and I want you to submit your own ORIGINAL "gang sign" photo. Feel free to tell your friends and anyone you think might be interested. The sooner you send yours in, the better chance it will be used in the new video, so don't delay!
Q: Does it have to be a real gang sign? No..in fact, the fake ones are funnier. Q: Can I send a photo I found on the internet? No. Make sure it's an original picture of you! Q: Can I send more than one? YES!
"Anyone who’s ever laughed out loud at the sight of a blonde sorority girl throwing up a crip sign like she’s Big Tookie in 80’s Compton will appreciate this funny music video, dedicated to the strange phenomenon of well-to-do caucasian ladies who seem to identify with the plight of thug life on the streets."
